Uttarakhand corona update: 20 new cases reported on 16 September
On Thursday, 20 new infected cases have been found in Uttarakhand. No patient has died there. While 28 patients have recovered. According to the Health Department report, 20 people were found corona infected in 10 districts.
Seven patients have been found in Dehradun district, one patient each in Almora, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Udham Singh Nagar and Uttarkashi, two each in Chamoli and Pauri and three in Nainital district. No infected have been found in Champawat, Haridwar and Tehri districts.
284 active patients in the state
Till date, 329582 patients have defeated the infection. Treatment of 284 active patients is going on. The recovery rate of the state has been recorded at 96 percent and infection rate of 0.10 percent. The total number of infected has reached 343330.
Mega vaccine drive in Dehradun on September 17
Amidst the decreasing cases of corona, the Uttarakhand government is busy in speeding up the vaccination. Under this, a big campaign of Covid vaccination will be run in the capital Dehradun. If you have not been able to get the Covid vaccine yet, then definitely get the vaccine done by joining the mega vaccine drive. Do your contribution in the fight against Corona. The event will be held on 17th September. In which a target has been set to vaccinate 33 thousand people. 200 vaccination centers have been set up for vaccination.
India has crossed the figure of giving 75 crore doses of corona vaccine. Vaccination campaign is going on in Uttarakhand too. A total of 33 thousand people will be vaccinated in the grand campaign to be held in Doon on September 17. In this, 8 thousand first dose and 25 thousand people will be given second dose. 200 centers have been set up to make the campaign a success.
