Uttarakhand corona update: 27 cases found on 1st March

The decreasing pace of infection is also helping amid the ongoing immunization drive to prevent corona. On Monday, 27 people were found infected in five districts of the state. While not a single infected has been found in eight districts. The good thing is that the infection rate has been 0.002 percent for the second consecutive day. Not only this, no corona-infected patient has also died.

According to the health department, 10716 samples of test reports were received from private and government labs. Of which 10689 reports have come negative. The maximum number of 16 people infected has been found positive in Haridwar. The reports of six people was positive in Dehradun, three in Udham Singh Nagar and one each in Tehri Garhwal and Nainital have come positive. No new cases have been reported in Almora, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Pauri Garhwal, Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. Here, 26 patients have also recovered in different districts. Of these, 11 are from Nainital, 10 from Dehradun, 3 from Chamoli and 2 patients from Pauri.

So far, 97019 people have been infected in Uttarakhand. Of which 93479 have been cured. There are currently 447 active cases while 1401 patients have gone out of state. So far 1692 corona infected patients have also died in the state.
