Virat Kohli to step down as RCB skipper after IPL 2021
Virat Kohli will step down as the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore after the current IPL season. He has already announced that he will step down as the captain of the Indian team after the T20 World Cup starting next month.
Virat said in his message – “This will be my last IPL as captain of RCB. I’ll continue to be an RCB player till I play my last IPL game. I thank all the RCB fans for believing in me and supporting me”
Virat wants to focus more on batting
While announcing his resignation from the captaincy of the Indian T20 team, Virat had said that he would continue to lead the Test and ODI team. Virat now wants to focus more on batting.
