Offline mode of classes closed in Degree colleges of 4 districts
Due to increasing Corona infection, offline classes of all government and private higher educational institutions of Kotdwar along with the plains districts Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar will be closed till April 30. Minister of State for Higher Education (Independent Charge) Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has issued instructions in this regard. Online studies will be continued in the said institutes.
Minister of State for Higher Education (Independent Charge) Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that corona infection is increasing rapidly in the more populous plains districts of the state. Because of this, the said decision has been taken. Instructions have been given to departmental officers in this regard. All higher educational institutions will open in other districts of the state, but there will be no compulsion for students. These institutions will continue to teach dy both offline and online.
Dr. Rawat said that last year also due to Corona all government degree colleges, universities and private higher educational institutions were closed. With this, the government connected almost all government colleges and universities in the state with the 4G network. In view of the present circumstances, now students and teachers will have to continue online studies and following the rules of Covid prevention. He informed that for better online studies in universities and colleges, a system of monitoring will also be arranged from the government level.
