Daily corona cases in Uttarakhand cross 1000 for the first time
The graph of corona infection is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand. A record 1061 new cases were reported on Wednesday, with the highest being 265 from Udham Singh Nagar. Apart from this, 251 cases were from Dehradun, 142 in Haridwar, 82 in Tehri Garhwal, 68 in Pauri Garhwal, 51 in Champawat, 49 in Rudraprayag, 36 in Nainital, 35 in Almora, 32 in Chamoli, 27 in Pithoragarh, 23 in Uttarkashi have been reported. At the same time, 789 have been cured, while 12 have died. The number of infected patients has now reached 27211 in the state. However 18262 of these have been fully recovered. Currently 8500 cases are active, while 372 have died so far. Apart from this, 77 patients have gone out of the state.
Corona infected agricultural and land conservation officer dies
Corona-infected Agriculture and Land Conservation Officer (Landaura) has died. He was admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS. On September 3, he was found corona infected. Due to ill health, he was admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS. The agriculture officer’s residence is in Roorkee and he was tenant in Landaura.
Do not be negligent in home isolation
In view of the increasing number of corona-infected patients, the guideline suggests patients with less severe and non-symptomatic patients stay in home isolation (separate from family members and others at home). Patients should not be negligent even while living in home isolation and it is very important to pay attention to instructions from the doctors.
