Hit and Run Case in Nainital
The popular tourist town of Nainital witnessed a horrifying car accident in which 1 student lost her life while 4 others were injured. The horrifying accident took place on Tuesday afternoon when a speeding ford car hit the students near the DBS College campus. The students have been identified as Bhavna Bora, Neetika Bhatt, Monika, Bhavna Negi and Babita. The car driver has been identified as Himanshu Bisht son of Narendra Singh Bisht a businessman from Nainital.
Prima Facie reports say that the accident occurred near the Rajbhawan road when the uncontrolled car ran into them. Onlookers said that two of the students jumped into a 50 ft gorge nearby resulting in serious injuries. The injured students were taken to B.D Pandey hospital were doctors referred Bhavna and Neetika to Haldwani. Doctors in Haldwani declared Bhavan brought dead while Neetika’s condition is said to be critical. Monika was admitted at B.D Pandey hospital while Babita and Bhavna Negi were discharged after primary treatment.
Eye Witnesses told that after the accident, the car driver hit a wall and then tried to flee away from the scene but was nabbed by the cops. The vehicle has also been ceased by the police.
