Corona curfew increased till 8th June in Uttarakhand

Corona curfew has been extended till June 8 in Uttarakhand. Now shops of essential commodities will open from 8 in the morning to 1 O’clock in the afternoon. At the same time, now the shops of groceries will open from 8 am to 1 pm on June 1 and 5. Stationery shops will also open on June 1. This information was given by government spokesperson and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal.

The period of Covid curfew implemented in the state for prevention of second wave of corona infection has been extended till June 8 in the fourth phase. This time it has been partially amended. Fruit-vegetable, meat-fish, milk shops, bakery products units in the state will now be open from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. Till now the time limit was from 8 to 11 in the morning. Groceries shops will open on June 1 and 5. During this period, there will be a relaxation of movement for the purchase of essential commodities.

In view of increasing cases of corona infection in the state, the government imposed the first phase of Covid curfew on May 10 from 1 pm to 18 May. In the second phase, its duration was extended till six in the morning on 25 May. In the third phase, this period was extended to 6 am on June 1.
