Uttarakhand Corona update: Less than 500 cases detected after 7 days
From the point of view of rising Corona cases, Sunday was a relatively good day for Uttarakhand. Corona has been confirmed among 490 people in the state. Seven days later it has happened that the number of infected remained below five hundred. One good thing is that the death toll is also less than other days.
According to information received from the Health Department, a total of 10271 sample reports have been received from private and government labs. Of which 9781 report is negative. Dehradun remains the worst hit district in Uttarakhand. The situation is that 202 people have been found positive here on Sunday. This is 41 percent of the total cases. The situation in Nainital district is also deteriorating. Everyday a large number of people are getting infected here. Now 79 more people have been found infected. At the same time, 50 new cases have been reported in Udham Singh Nagar and 46 in Haridwar. Surgeons and an EMO of the District Hospital in Haridwar have been found infected. Apart from this, 25 persons have been reported positive in Pithoragarh, 24 in Chamoli, 23 in Pauri Garhwal, 14 in Tehri Garhwal, 11 in Uttarkashi, 9 in Rudraprayag, 6 in Champawat and 1 in Almora. No new case has come up in Bageshwar. Till now 82429 people have been corona infected in the state. In which 73818 people have also become healthy. At present there are 6293 active cases, while 963 patients have gone out of state.
396 recoveries
Amidst the increasing pace of corona, the number of patients recovering is also increasing every day. On Sunday too, 396 patients in various districts have recovered. These include 264 from Dehradun, 54 from Champawat, 25 from Udham Singh Nagar, 17 from Uttarkashi, 15 from Nainital, 12 from Bageshwar, 6 from Almora and 3 patients from Chamoli. The recovery rate in the present state is 89.55 percent.
