1233 Corona cases found in Uttarakhand on 10 April
Corona has a new record in Uttarakhand on Saturday. There are 1233 new corona cases across the state. It is a matter of concern that three infected persons have also died due to coronavirus. According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department, the number of dead has increased to 1752 and the number of active cases has reached 6241. Dehradun district has the highest corona cases with 589 cases. Other district reported 254 in Haridwar, 129 in Nainital, 90 in US city, 50 in Pauri, 16 each in Chamoli and Rudraprayag, 14 in Almora, 6 in Pithoragarh, 4 each in Bageshwar and Champawat The virus has been confirmed in 3 new patients in Uttarkashi. After about six months, so many cases have been reported in the state. The number of containment zones in Uttarakhand has increased to 47.
Everyone to be checked in containment zone
In Uttarakhand, it has been decided to check 100 percent people in the containment zone to stop the pace of corona infection. Along with this, a micro-containment zone creation has been asked to break the chain of viruses. Chief Secretary Omprakash reviewed the corona infection prevention meeting at the secretariat on Saturday. He said that cases of corona are increasing across the country, in such a situation, the state will have to be proactive to prevent infection. He instructed all the District Magistrates to keep their preparations in view of the corona infection. He directed to increase the corona testing in all districts and said that 100 percent testing should be ensured in the Containment Zone. Social distancing in crowded areas including hotels, restaurants and ensuring compliance of COVID standards.
