Jollygrant airport located on the outskirts of the state capital has been put on red alert following threat by terrorists to blow up several airports in North India. The security of the airport has been stepped up in and around the airport premises. As per intelligence reports terrorists have issued a warning to bomb Jollygrant airport following which the police had issued a red alert.
Earlier in September an unknown caller from a Noida based call center had issued a warning to blow up Kedarnath and Badrinath temples following which a red alert had been sounded there as well.
