325 new Corona cases, 246 recoveries in Uttarakhand today
The cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand are increasing day by day. 325 new cases have been reported on Saturday. The maximum number of 135 cases are from Haridwar. Apart from this, 62 Nainital, 34 Dehradun, 27 Rudraprayag, 23 Udham Singh Nagar, 16 Tehri Garhwal, 13 Chamoli, nine Almora, three Pauri Garhwal, two Champawat and one case are from Pithoragarh. At the same time, 246 people have recovered completely. The number of infected people in the state has now increased to 11940. However, 7748 of these patients are fully healthy and discharged. Currently 3997 cases are active, while 151 have died. Apart from this, 44 patients have gone out of the state.
Death of four infected patients
Three Corona virus infected patients died within 24 hours at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. According to AIIMS administration, a 58-year-old resident of Rishikesh was admitted on August 1 on a complaint of diabetes and other illness. This patient died on Friday night. A 16-year-old teenager from Nagla Kubda Haridwar admitted in AIIMS since August 5 has also died. The teenager was admitted here for the treatment of other serious diseases including blood transfusions. At the same time, a 65-year-old elderly resident of Najibabad was suffering from serious illnesses. He died during treatment. At the same time, a 40-year-old corona-infected woman admitted to Sushila Tiwari Hospital has also died.
18 army personnel got corona infected
There have been 27 infected cases of corona in Rudraprayag district, out of which 18 are from Army. Chief Medical Officer BP Shukla said that so far 72 army personnel have been tested, out of which 18 are Army personnel. All are undergoing treatment at Army Hospital Dehradun. With this, the order of testing is going on continuously.
On August 15, maximum Corona cases were reported in Haridwar- 135, followed by Nainital- 62, Dehradun- 34, Rudraprayag- 27, US Nagar- 23, Tehri -16, Chamoli -13, Almora- 9, Pauri- 3, Champawat- 2 and 1 Pithoragarh.
With this the total Corna cases found in Uttarakhand till 15 August is 11940. Out of which 7748 have recovered while 151 have lost their lives. 5% of the samples tested in the state are found to be Corona positive. There are 3997 active cases in Uttarakhand while 44 cases have been migrated out of state.
