DA of employees and pensioners to increase in Uttarakhand

In the election year, the Dhami government of the state made a big announcement for the government employees and pensioners. The dearness allowance to the state employees and pensioners has been increased by 11 percent. In this way, now the dearness allowance of the employees will increase to 28 percent. More than three lakh employees and pensioners of the state will be benefited by this announcement of the Chief Minister. Apart from this, the state government has given many other reliefs to the employees. The government will give arrears for the months of July and August to the employees. The increased dearness allowance will be available in the salary for the month of September. This announcement of the Chief Minister will benefit 1.60 lakh employees and 1.50 lakh pensioners of the state. These days the monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly is going on. Today is the third day of the session. This time the monsoon session started from 23 August. This session will be held for five days.

It was believed that the Dhami government can announce a big relief to the employees during the budget session. The same thing happened. During the session, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to increase the dearness allowance of employees and pensioners by 11 percent. From next month, the employees will start getting the increased dearness allowance. Earlier on Tuesday, on the second day of the assembly session, the CM presented a supplementary budget of 5720.78 crores. On the second day of the session, 10 Bills became Acts. Section-19 of the Nursery Act was amended by the government. In the Act, a provision has been made for punishment and fine for giving substandard plant material to the farmers. In the budget, special emphasis was laid on self-employment, preparation for Covid, construction of rural roads, Har Ghar Nal, and other centrally funded and welfare schemes. Apart from this, provision was also made to spend money under Samagra Shiksha, National Health Mission and Central Road Fund.
