Assistant Accountant vacancy in UPPCL

In Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), advertisement for recruitment for the posts of Assistant Accountant (Backlog), Group-C has been issued. For this, candidates have to apply online.

Online application process

Under UPPCL Recruitment 2020, 33 vacant posts are to be filled. Out of these 21 vacancies are reserved for OBC (non creamy layer), 11 vacancies for SC and 1 vacancy for ST category. The process of online application will start from 9 September 2020. The last date for application is 29 September 2020. The Computer Based Written Examination (CBT) for these vacancies will be held in the last week of October 2020. How to apply

Candidates can apply through these steps on these vacant posts taken out by UPPCL-

1. On the date of commencement of online application, candidates should login on the official website of the corporation, uppcl.org.
2. Click on Apply Online Against Advertisement Number 05 / VSA / 2020 / AA / Backlog for the Post of Assistant Accountant-Backlog on the homepage.
3. Now a new page will open. Fill the application form here and submit it.

Candidates will have to keep their registered mobile number and email ID till the final result.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should have a degree in commerce from a recognized university.

Age Range

The age of the candidate should be from 21 to 40 years. The age limit will be decided on 1 July 2020. SC, ST and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category candidates of Uttar Pradesh will get a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit.

Application fee

For SC and ST category of UP: Rs 700
For OBC category of UP (non creamy layer): Rs 1000
For handicapped category: Rs 10

Method of marking

A computer-based written examination will be conducted for recruitment to these posts. Keep in mind that there will also be negative marking in this exam for a total of 150 questions. 1 mark will be set for each question. For every wrong answer 1/4 mark will be deducted.
