3rd PM to visit Kedarnath
Amid tight security Kedarnath shrine portal opened for the public on Wednesday and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid obesience at temple. This was Narendra Modi’s first visit to the Kedarnath Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva – ever since he became PM.
It would be pertinent to mention here that after disaster 2013 then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi had offered then Uttarakhand CM to allow him to reconstruct the Kedarnath temple but his offer was rejected due to political rivalry. Even he was not allowed to visit to that place because then congress government was not ready to give him political mileage out of it.
On Wednesday entire machinery were ready to welcome prime minister at the historical place including Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
