Online applications for Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 for recruitment to Group C posts in Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) started from Tuesday. A detailed program for this has also been issued by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
According to this, online applications will start from August 1 and will continue till August 30. Candidates will be able to make fee adjustment and amendment in the application till September 6. Online applications for PET will be through the website of the Commission. Offline applications will not be accepted. Commission Secretary Avneesh Saxena told that the result of PET 2022 was released on January 25, which is effective for one year.
Therefore, the short listing of the candidates will be based on PET 2022 for appearing in the advertisements which will be issued by the commission till January 24, 2024, for the conduct of the main examinations for the relative selection of various posts. The score card of PET 2023 will be valid for the advertisement issued after this. He told that after filling and submitting the application, candidates must take a print out of it.
Such candidates who applied for PET 2022 can register for PET 2023 on the basis of their registration number of the above examination. There will be 100 marks exam for PET. The exam will be of two hours and will have 100 questions. The date of examination will be issued separately. The syllabus and other detailed information of the examination has been uploaded on the website of the Commission http://upsssc.gov.in/. Candidates should apply only after reading this.
