Five people died including a driver in a painful accident near Chaiti on Thursday morning. The dead included four teachers. This jeep was going to Bardecheena. 5 teachers, were also injured in the accident.
According to the information, a Jeep was taking teachers from Almora. This jeep fell into the deep trench near Chaiti in which the teachers and a driver were killed. The injured have been admitted to the base clinic in Almora. During the incident, three teachers died on the spot, while one died in the base hospital. Driver Khajan Ram succumbed to injuries in Garampani while going to Haldwani for treatment.
In the second accident, a Tata Sumo got crashed near Lower Mallroad.
