Heavy rain in Uttarakhand’s capital, Dehradun, on Friday wrecked havoc in the city. Many were trapped in the Rispana river due to sudden rise in water levels. A truck, car and taxi were trapped under the bridge. Due to the rains, many trees fell on the roads and broke electrical lines. Police is trying to evacuate the vehicles. According to the information, sudden rains in Uttarakhand’s hilly areas have caused disaster in lower areas. The rivers and canals swelled with rain water trapping many vehicles that were parked in their vicinity.
