HNB Garhwal University rolls back Fee hike for 2018-19 session

The HNB Garhwal University Administration had increased the fee amount by Rs 100 to 500 in various courses in the Prospectus from the new education session 2018-19. Students were also upset over the increase in fees. The University administration in the meeting of the AC, looked at the grievances of the students and decided to roll back the hike. The University administration will issue an order soon in this context. The University had increased the fees for the various certificate and degree courses for the new session. In more than 40 charges, the university administration had increased the amount from Rs 50 to Rs 500. While the exam fees for LLM  in each semester was Rs 1,400 last year, this time it was Rs 3150, in which Rs 1750 was deducted. In addition to this the university has rolled back the charges in various certificates such as transfer, character certificate, duplicate fee receipt, introduction card, examination center change fees, back papers, alumni exam fees, re-experimental exam fees, duplicate migration certificate etc. The increase in the course fees of the course has been withdrawn from the university’s administration.

Various fees which were raised by the University administration were made from the new education session, have been postponed in the meeting of the Academic Council. The same fees that the students had paid last year will be taken this session as well. For which orders will be made for departments concerned.
