Uttarakhand Corona update: 6 New cases found in last 24 hours
Since the arrival of migrants to Uttarakhand, the graph of corona virus is increasing rapidly in the state. Six new cases have also been reported in the state in the health bulletin issued till 2 P.M on Saturday. Among them four are from families of the infected patients admitted to Doon Hospital. The samples were sent for examination as they were suspected. Their report turned out to be positive. Apart from this two cases have been reported in Udham Singh Nagar district.
Corona infection has been found in two youths who returned home from Mumbai and Gurugram in Udham Singh Nagar. One of them has been kept in the isolation ward in Rudrapur District Hospital and the other in LD Bhatt Hospital Kashipur. Physicians in the Corona ward are investigating the contact history of both young men to prevent the spread of infection. The number of infected people in the state has now reached 88. Although 51 of these people haverecovered and discharged from hospitals, 36 are active cases.
The worrying aspect is that now the risk of corona has started increasing in the mountainous areas also. After Uttarkashi and Almora, which were included in the Green Zone, now, after 50 days, Corona positive patient has been found in Pauri too. Here, a 23-year-old young man from Birkhal block, who returned to Kotdwar from Gurugram in Haryana, has been found infected three days back. The youth has been admitted to Base Hospital Kotdwar.
Random sampling of 192 people reaching Dehradun
On Friday, the health screening team conducted a random sampling of a total of 192 persons on the borders of Dehradun. In which 71 samples were taken at Asharodi check post, 74 at Kulhal check post and 47 at Maharana Pratap Sports College Raipur. All have been sent for investigation.
