Uttarayaini fair begins in Bageshwar

The historic Uttaraini fair has begun in Bageshwar. The culture of Kumaon to Kashmir, has been shown in Bageshwar. The cultural table was started jointly by regional MLA Chandan Das, District Panchayat President Harish Athani, Municipal Councilor Suresh Khetwal and District Magistrate Ranjana Rajguru.
On Monday, various artists and school children gathered in the tehsil campus. The guest flagged off the various tableau in the parade. In it, Jhanda, Chanchari, Holi, Nanda Raj Jat, along with various cultural groups demonstrated culture with musical instruments of different areas of Uttarakhand. Apart from this, the children of different schools presented a glimpse of the culture of various districts. Children from many school were performing Kashmiri dance while children from other schools were walking on the songs of Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana. The children from various schools, including state girls inter college, Rinka Bageshwar, Vivekanand Vidya Mandir, Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Baijnath Bal Vidya Mandir, Himalayan Sentel School, Deendayal Upadhyaya Public School participated in the tableau. The children exhibited the culture of various provinces including Manipur, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Rajasthan.
