Uttarakhand daily corona update: 153 cases found on 20 January
In Uttarakhand, the coronavirus infection is now becoming less frequent. On Wednesday, 153 new cases of corona were found. While the sample positivity rate is 1.12 percent. So far, 95192 people have been infected in the state. Of which 90264 has also been cured. Currently there are 2005 active cases. 1301 patients have moved out of state.
According to the health department, 13601 sample test reports have been received from different government and private labs. Of which 13448 reports have come negative. Dehradun has the highest number of 71 people infected. Investigation report of 36 people has also come positive in Nainital. Apart from this, 19 people have been found in Haridwar, 13 in Udham Singh Nagar, 7 in Almora, 4 in Uttarkashi, 1 each in Chamoli, Pauri and Pithoragarh. Four new cases of corona infection have not been found in Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Tehri.
Death of three patients
There is not a single day in the state when no patient has died due to corona. Every day the death toll is increasing. Three patients succumbed during treatment in the last 24 hours. Two patients died at AIIMS Rishikesh and one at Kailash Hospital. So far, 1622 corona infected patients have died in the state.
131 won the battle against Corona
The number of patients who won the war from Corona is increasing steadily. During the last 24 hours, 131 patients were cured in various districts. Of these, 65 are from Dehradun, 62 Nainital, two Haridwar and one patient each from Tehri and Chamoli. At present, the recovery rate in the state is 94.82 percent.
