Uttarakhand Government declares Chhath holiday on Nov 2

On November 2, the state has declared a public holiday on the occasion of Chhath Puja. In this regard, the order of public holiday on Chhath Puja has also been issued by the government. This time the government has declared a holiday in all departments, government and non-government educational institutions as well as treasuries and sub treasuries. At the same time, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat congratulated and greeted the people of the state on Chhath Puja.

On the occasion of Chhath Puja on November 2, the holiday has been announced by the government.

Banks to remain closed on Chhath Puja

Not only government offices but also banks will remained closed tomorrow i.e November 2 for Chhath Puja celebrations.

The auspicious time of offering Arghya to the Sun on the day of Chhath Puja on November 2 is 6:33 in the morning and 35 minutes past 5 in the evening. Shashti Tithi will start from 12:22 on the night of November 2, and will continue for a 30 minutes at night on November 3.
