Free pathology testing to be available in 30 centers across Uttarakhand

People will get the facility of free pathology examination at 30 places of the state. Pathology  testing service will be launched on 17th September. At the same time, on the third anniversary of Atal Ayushman Yojana, on 23rd September, Arogya Manthan program will be organized in Dehradun. In which communication with media personnel and suggestions for better health services will be taken.

On Thursday, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a departmental review meeting in the auditorium at the Secretariat. He said that under the Chief Minister’s announcement, the patients coming to the government hospitals would be given free medicine and pathology examination facility. On September 17, free pathology check-up service will be started at 30 places in the state. The Chief Minister will launch this service in Dehradun. Whereas in other places MLA, District Panchayat President, District Magistrate and Chief Medical Officer will inaugurate it.

The Departmental Minister directed the officers to further improve the services of 108, 104 and 102 toll free numbers as well as provide maximum health facilities to the common people. On September 23, the government will organize Arogya Manthan program on the completion of three years of Atal Ayushman Yojana. In which suggestions will be taken from media personnel on health services and Ayushman Golden Card.

He directed the officers to prepare a proposal for exemption in Clinical Establishment Act, manual of ASHA workers and manual related to medical colleges and bring it to the next cabinet. He said that the utilization certificate should be issued to the department by utilizing the amount received from the disaster item at the earliest.
