Two soldiers from Uttarakhand martyred in militant encounter in J&K

Two soldiers from Uttarakhand were killed in an encounter with militants in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. One soldier belonged to Pauri and the other was from Rudraprayag district.

Jawan Devendra Singh, a resident of Tinsooli village of Rudraprayag district, died in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. The body of the martyr is being brought to the village for funeral.

The second martyr is Jawan Amit Anthwal belonged to Kola village of Pauri district. The martyred jawan is the only brother of two sisters. The martyred soldier was engaged in July 2019. The wedding was fixed in October 2020.
