A Periodic drama series “Gadera” will unfold the tales of kumoun and Garhwal says Filmmaker Yogesh Vats

Director Yogesh Vats will be filming the period drama series “Gadera” soon in Uttarakhand’s spectacular mountains . This series is based on the ancient thrilling events of Kumaon and Garhwal. From the invasion of Gurkhas to the famous stories and events of the British colonial period, the film will be engraved on the screen. This is a periodic suspense thriller genre based series. Gadera will be the first Bollywood series based on the ancient events of Uttarakhand.

After completing his film direction studies from the State Institute of Film and Television, Yogesh Vats started his film career with the Bollywood feature film “Hawayein”, whose release date has been pushed forward due to the corona epidemic.

“Director Yogesh Vats, said that for years Bollywood stories were restricted only to the extent of cinema theater, but with the advent of OTT platforms, competition in the entertainment industry has increased significantly. Young filmmakers have an excellent opportunity to capture the folk tales and stories in the cinema which are confined to the remote villages and towns of the drawers.

Producer of the series “Gadera” Siddharth Rajkumar and CEO of Jet Films and Co-producer Naseem Ahmed of CJ International, said that the cine-lovers and the youth of North are very keen on the series, with the youth taking a lot of interest in auditions. There are many Bollywood celebrities Involved in the series as well as they said that keeping in view the severity of the global pandemic, all the security equipment will be provided to crew members during the shooting of the series and the audition process is being done through an online medium.

Associate director Prince Prasad, defining the series title “Gadera”, pointed out that the rainy ponds and springs in the mountainous regions, especially Himachal and Uttarakhand, are called “Gadera” in the local dialect. Given the story of the series, we found the title appropriate.

Filming of “Gadera” will be done in both Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand. Local artists will be given a chance to showcase their talent. A lot of academics have also been discussed about the series’ story and historical events. The script of the series is almost done.
