Heavy rain forecast in 8 districts of Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall on July 10 and 11 in eight districts of Uttarakhand. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain across the state for the next three-four days.

The state has received heavy rainfall in the first week of July. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains in the second week as well.

Particular rain is expected in Dehradun. According to Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, on July 8 and 9, there will be rain at most places in Dehradun, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi and Nainital districts.

Whereas the remaining districts may receive rain at many places. On July 9, heavy rains are likely to occur in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri and Nainital districts.

On July 10 and 11, there is a possibility of rain in most places in the state. During this period, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Haridwar, Nainital, Almora and Udham Singh Nagar districts. At the same time, there will be possibility of rain across the state in the next two-three days.
