Corona test mandatory to enter Uttarakhand

In Unlock-4, people coming from outside in Uttarakhand will be able to get a Covid test in the checkposts located on the border. The order to arrange the Covid test at the posts has been issued by Chief Secretary Omprakash on Friday.

People coming from outside in the state must compulsorily register on the smart city website. Along with this, they have to take RT-PCR, Tru NAT, NAAT test from any authorized lab of Medical Council of India no more than 72 hours before their visit to the state and upload its report on the website.

Now the state government has made arrangements that if such people are not able to bring a report with them or have not tested for Corona, then they will get the facility of Covid Test at the border. They have to pay the amount and get the Covid test done.

If the test is found negative, then they will be able to enter the state by following the social distance norms. If found positive, they have to be quarantined. Along with this, the Chief Secretary has also asked the concerned District Magistrates to arrange for a Covid Test at the border.

Step taken in view of increasing cases of corona infection

The state government has taken this step in view of the increasing cases of corona infection. This will at least decide not to enter the state without a report.

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Omprakash has said that people coming from outside the state will not be allowed to enter the state if they do not conduct a corona check at the border. On the other hand, people will have to spend between Rs 800 and 850 for the antigen (immediate) screening of corona at the state border, while the RTPCR test will be for Rs 2400.

Secretary Health Amit Negi said that it has been decided to increase the number of investigations in collaboration with private labs on the border. He said that the rate of antigen screening on the border will be around 800 to 850 rupees. In this regard, the rates will be decided by the District Magistrates. Negi told that Rs 2400 will have to be paid for conducting RTPCR test on the border from private lab.

Free testing will continue from the government

Health Secretary Amit Negi said that the facility of free antigen test being carried out by the Health Department on the border will continue. The movement of people has increased after the end of the limit of two thousand in one day. In such a situation, people do not have to wait for examination during entry at the border, so private labs are also being allowed to conduct Corona test.

Compulsory test for flight travelers too

Chief Secretary Omprakash said that the corona test will also be compulsory if the reports of the flight or train travelers are not negative 96 hours before. Their investigation will be done in the airport and railway stations only. At the same time, every day those coming from UP to Uttarakhand for duty have to show their factory authorized letter or ID. On showing this they will be free from corona testing.

Must take ID for commuting from Doon to Kumaon

If you have an ID from Uttarakhand and are going to come to Kumaon via Bijnor for some work, then keep the ID with you. You will not have to face a corona check if you have an ID.
