Uttarakhand Open University has postponed the annual examinations for the undergraduate and postgraduate final year to be held from August 24 this month. University Controller of Examinations Prof. PD Pant said that due to Covid-19, all educational institutions will remain closed till August 31, 2020 in the order issued by the Government of India and the State Government.
It has been decided to postpone the examinations till advance orders, as most of the degree colleges in the state are Covid centers. The new date for the examinations will be announced only after the central and state government’s advance order comes.
