CBSE allows class IX and XI failing students opportunity to be promoted

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Board has taken an important decision to address the concern of unsuccessful students of class 9th and 11th. Students who have failed in the exam will be given a chance to pass. As an opportunity,they will be given a chance to sit in the school-based test.

This opportunity is being given to all schools which are accredited by the school CBSE. It has been said by the board that this opportunity is being given only in view of the situation of Covid-19. Read full notice.

Apart from this, the board of CBSE has also recently clarified its stand on compartment exam. The board has said that they will not cancel the compartment exam for the students of 10th, 12th. The board received many complaints from students regarding conducting the exam during the pandemic. After which the board made a notice on the official website cbse.nic.in and made its stand clear on conducting the examination. In response to the complaints of the students, CBSE has given information about why it is necessary to conduct the examination.
