Infosys declares Q4 2022 results

The fourth quarter results of Infosys have come out, which have been very good. The company’s net profit in Q4 2022 grew by 12 per cent to Rs 5,686 crore. On the other hand, the company’s revenue grew by 22.7 per cent to Rs 32,276 crore as against Rs 26,311 crore in the previous review period. The company expects revenue growth of 13 to 15 percent in the financial year 2022-23. The company will recruit 50 thousand freshers this year. Along with this, salary increment will also be given in April.

The company’s net profit in the fourth quarter of last year was Rs 5076 crore. On Wednesday, the company’s shares closed 0.49 percent higher at Rs 1751 on the NSE. However, the stock is trading down 8 per cent on a yearly basis. The company has kept operating margin guidance between 21 and 23 per cent. The company’s CEO Salil Parikh said that the annual growth of Infosys has been the highest in this decade.

The board of Infosys has decided to pay dividend at the rate of Rs 16 per equity share. This dividend is for the business year ended March 31, 2022. Salil said that the company will enhance talent globally, also increase expenditure on employees and focus on growing market potential. The company has recruited about 85000 people in the last business year. These are all freshers. The company’s attrition rate increased to 27.7 percent in the March quarter. Whereas in the December quarter it was 25.5 per cent.

The company’s consolidated profit for the full year (April-March 2022) was Rs 22,110 crore, which is 14 per cent higher than Rs 19,351 crore in FY21. Consolidated revenue for FY 2022 stood at Rs 1,21,641 crore, a growth of 21 per cent over FY21 revenue of Rs 1,00,472 crore.
