3 member committee constituted to look into Uttarakhand Assembly appointments in last 10 years

Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan in a press conference in Dehradun said that an inquiry committee has been constituted in the Uttarakhand assembly recruitment case. Also, Assembly Secretary Mukesh Singhal has been sent on leave.

Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan has constituted a three-member expert committee to investigate the matter of the recruitment of the Vidhan Sabha. The committee will have former IAS DK Kotia president and Surendra Singh Rawat and Avanindra Nayal as members. The committee will submit its report in a month. Till the investigation is done, the secretary of the assembly Mukesh Singhal has been sent on leave.

Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan told reporters that the committee will examine the appointments from 2012 to 2022. Apart from this, there was guidelines of Uttar Pradesh from 2000 to 2011. This will also be brought under scrutiny.

33 arrests so far in UKSSSC paper leak case

Meanwhile, 33 arrests have been made so far in the UKSSSC paper leak case. During this investigation, fingers started being raised regarding the appointments made in the assembly.
