UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2023 Answer Key: Where to check
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently released the answer key of UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam held in 2023. All the candidates who had appeared for UPSC Prelims 2023 exam can now download the answer key of Civil Services Prelims GS-I and GS-II Exam 2023 by visiting the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
The GS 1 exam was held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in the exam held on May 28, 2023. After this, Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) was conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. UPSC Mains exam was conducted in September 2023 in two shifts: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Whereas, the final step of the selection process, the interview for personality test, was held between January and April 2024.
In the answer key released by UPSC, the Commission has removed one question from each series of Paper 1 General Studies 1. There were total 100 questions in Paper 1, which were of total 200 marks. Meanwhile, Paper 2 of General Studies 2 had a total of 80 questions with a maximum of 200 marks. Negative marking was applicable in the exam.

To download UPSC Prelims 2023 Answer Key, candidates can follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in.
Step 2: After this, go to the ‘Examination’ tab given on the home page.
Step 3: Now select the option of ‘Answer Key’. You will be redirected to a new page showing the answer keys for the GS 1 and GS 2 exams.
Step 4: You click on it. This will open a PDF file, which will contain the answer key of the concerned exam.
Step 5: You can download the answer key and take a print out of it for future reference.
