Nainital, Tehri, Pauri, Chamoli and Bageshwar, including the capital Dehradun, may receive heavy rains for the next four days. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. In these districts, there may be lightening with thunder and lightning along with heavy rain.
Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Department, said that till July 3, heavy rains are expected in these districts of the state. Along with this, there may be thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly districts and heavy to very heavy showers with wind.
Whereas, today it will be cloudy in Dehradun. One or two rounds of light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperature of Doon is expected to be 31 and 24 degree Celsius.
