The monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly will be held in Dehradun from September 5. The session has been proposed till September 8. Supplementary budget will be presented in the session. This decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting.
The proposal of the Legislative Department to convene the assembly session from September 6 to September 12 was placed before the cabinet. After discussion on this, it was decided to conduct it from September 5. Parliamentary Affairs and Legislative Minister Premchand Aggarwal informed about the session being called.
He informed that the budget session took place in the summer capital. The upcoming session will be held in the Dehradun assembly. He said that the session would be convened till September 8. During that time the government will present the supplementary budget. According to sources, tribute will be paid to former cabinet minister late Chandan Ram Das on September 5, the first day of the assembly session.
