Economic Survey: Uttarakhand’s per capita income estimated to increase by 10.05%

The size of the state’s economy, which is moving towards a strong Uttarakhand, is estimated to increase to Rs 3.02 lakh crore in the year 2022-23. Along with this, the per capita income of the state has also increased to Rs.2,33,000. The per capita income of the state has been estimated to increase by 10.05 percent in one year. The growth rate of the state has also increased to 7.09 percent. This disclosure has come from the State Government’s Economic Survey 2022-23. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Premchand Aggarwal presented the report on the floor of the house on Tuesday, the second day of the assembly session.

According to the report, Uttarakhand is estimated to be ahead in terms of growth rate and per capita income. The growth rate of 2022 in the Indian economy is estimated to be 7.0 percent. The per capita income of the country at prevailing prices is Rs 1,70,620. Even in 2021-22, Uttarakhand was estimated to be 201,854 more than neighboring Himachal in terms of per capita income.

6 thousand crore plan to reduce the traffic pressure of Dehradun

According to the report, to reduce the traffic pressure in Dehradun city, elevated roads will be constructed on Rispana and Bindal river at a cost of 5990.08 crores. An expenditure of Rs 2515.33 crore is proposed on the elevated road at Rispana and Rs 3474.75 crore on the Bindal river. Feasibility work of both these projects has been completed. ROB is proposed to be constructed from Ajabpur to Mohkampur. Glass floor suspension bridge as an alternative to Laxman Jhula on river Ganges in Rishikesh with an estimated cost of Rs 69 crores will be completed by July 2023.
