On Friday, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham was announced at Panchkedar seat Omkareshwar Temple after calculating the Panchang. The doors of Kedarnath temple will be opened for devotees on 10th May for Chardham 2024 season.
Media in-charge of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee, Dr. Harish Chandra Gaur said, on the occasion of Maha Shivratri festival on March 8, religious rituals started at Omkareshwar temple in Ukhimath from 9 am.
In the presence of Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Ajendra Ajay, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham was announced under the guidance of Rawal Bhimashankar of Kedarnath.
