There is a possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms in some areas of the hill districts today. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for gusty winds at a speed of 40 kilometers in some areas of Dehradun, Pauri, Haridwar, Nainital, Champawat and Udham Singh Nagar districts. However, the weather will remain dry in other districts.
Temperature crosses 38 degrees in Doon
After a week, the heat has started showing its effect once again. On Saturday, the maximum temperature of the capital Dehradun was recorded at 38.9 degrees with a rise of four degrees. When the temperature increased, the period of hot winds started. Due to this, pedestrians and two-wheeler drivers had to face trouble. Earlier, an increase of one or two degrees was being recorded in the normal temperature.
Due to strong sunlight, it has become difficult to go out during the day. Meteorologists say that with the increase in temperature in the coming days, the period of hot winds will also intensify.
