Uttarakhand weather update: Rainalert for these districts on July 17

Heavy to very heavy rain warnings have been issued for Dehradun, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Nainital and Bageshwar on Thursday (July 17). The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for these districts, which means that the likelihood of rain is more intense today. There is a yellow alert with light to moderate rain in the rest of the areas. Also, gusty winds will also blow at a speed of 40 km per hour.

The temperature also dropped after the rain

Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh said that this series of rains can continue till next week. That is, before planning a trip to the mountains, definitely gauge the mood of the weather. On Wednesday, a drop of about 3 degrees Celsius was recorded in the temperature in Dehradun in the last 24 hours.
