The Uttarkashi administration is sending a limited number of pilgrims to Gangotri Dham in view of the weather and road conditions. On Wednesday morning, 500 devotees who stayed at various places in the district headquarters left for Gangotri Dham. Vehicles were arranged for everyone from Taxi Union Gyansu and Bhatwadi Taxi Point. From here, all the passengers first reached Heena and after registration went to Gangotri Dham.
