Plans underway to reopen schools for classes 1 to 5 in Uttarakhand

Schools have started operating in Uttarakhand amid fears of the third wave of Corona. In the first phase, schools were opened for students from class 9th to 12th. In the second phase, the students of junior classes got entry in the school. Now the idea is to open schools up to the fifth standard. If sources are to be believed, schools from class I to V may open soon in Uttarakhand. Private school operators believe that now schools from class 1 to 5 should be opened in the state. If Education Minister Arvind Pandey agrees with the views of private school operators, then soon students of classes 1 to 5 may also get entry in the school in Uttarakhand. An important meeting is to be held with the Education Minister of private school operators on this on Tuesday. In which a decision is expected to be taken on this issue.

School operators argue that since everything cannot be taught online now the time has come to reopen schools.  In talks with the minister on Tuesday, they said that ‘we will advocate for the opening of the school’. By the way, what the school administrators have said, it is also true to a large extent. The education of children has been badly affected during the Corona period. Online education is also in bad condition in the mountainous area.

Schools have opened in the state from August 2. Schools from 9th to 12th were opened from 2nd August. In the second phase, the conduct of junior classes started. Engineering colleges have also opened in the state. Now the government is in the mood to give entry to the students of class 1 to 5 in the school. So that the studies of the students are not interrupted.
