Assembly monsoon session will be held in Bharadisain from 19 to 22 August
The Uttarakhand Assembly will have a 2025 monsoon session from August 19 to 22 in the summer capital Garsain. After the permission of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Dhananjay Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Department, issued orders in this regard.
The cabinet had authorized the Chief Minister to decide the date and place of the monsoon session. The government issued orders after the Chief Minister’s consent to hold session in Bharadisain Assembly from August 19. After fixing the date and place of the session by the state government, the Assembly Secretariat will issue notification with the permission of the Governor.
The Assembly Secretariat has received 450 questions from MLAs so far for the monsoon session. On the other hand, the assembly has also intensified preparations to operate the session smoothly. Sound proof and digitization work will be completed within 10 days in the meeting pavilion of Bharadisain Assembly Building.
Due to the work of digitization and other improvement under e-neweva in Bharadisain Assembly, the budget session was held in Dehradun. The government has decided to hold the monsoon session in Garsain.
