Sensex slips 617 points to close at 73,885

There was a decline in the stock market today i.e. on 30 May. The Sensex slipped 617 points to close at 73,885. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 216 points. It closed at 22,488.

This is the fourth consecutive day when the stock market declined. Today, there was a big decline in metal, IT and pharma shares. Tata Steel’s stock has seen a decline of 5.19%. It was the top loser of Nifty.

Decline in US market

There was a decline in the US market on Wednesday. The Dow Jones closed 1.06% down at 38,441.54. At the same time, S&P closed 0.74% and Nasdaq 0.58% down. At the same time, there is also a decline in the Asian market today.
