The decline that started in the domestic stock market last week is not stopping. The stock market closed with a decline for the fourth consecutive trading day today (July 14). On Monday, the BSE Sensex closed at 82,253.46 points, down 247.01 points (0.30%). Similarly, today the NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 25,082.30 points with a loss of 67.55 points (0.27%). On Monday, mainly IT and finance sector companies registered a decline.
Only 10 out of 30 Sensex stocks closed in the green
On Monday, out of 30 Sensex companies, only 10 stocks closed in the green with a gain and the shares of all the remaining 20 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, out of 50 companies of Nifty 50, shares of 22 companies closed in the green with a gain and shares of 27 companies closed in the red with a loss, while the stock of one company closed without any change today. Today, among the Sensex companies, the shares of Eternal closed with the highest gain of 3.11 percent, while the shares of Tech Mahindra closed with the highest loss of 1.82 percent today.
These shares including Titan, Mahindra showed growth
Among other Sensex companies, today Titan shares closed with a gain of 1.23 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.56 percent, Sun Pharma 0.54 percent, ITC 0.42 percent, Tata Steel 0.25 percent, Adani Ports 0.23 percent, SBI 0.10 percent, ICICI Bank 0.03 percent and Bharti Airtel shares closed with a gain of 0.01 percent.
Names of Sensex companies closing in red On the other hand, the list of companies closing in red today includes Bajaj Finance 1.54 percent, Infosys 1.53 percent, Asian Paints 1.50 percent, HCL Tech 1.41 percent, TCS 1.29 percent, L&T 1.25 percent, Tata Motors 1.04 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.77 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.76 percent, Reliance Industries 0.69 percent, Trent 0.68 percent, BEL 0.39 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.36 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.20 percent, NTPC 0.19 percent, Power Grid 0.13 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.04 percent, HDFC Bank 0.03 percent and Axis Bank 0.02 percent.
