CBSE releases date sheet for Board exams 2021

The CBSE board released the 10th and 12th datesheets on Tuesday, February 2. The 10th and 12th exams will start from May 4. The English language-literature paper for class 10th will be on 6 May. On the 4th of May, there will be 12th English Elective and English Core paper.

While releasing the datesheet, the education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank told the students that ‘I am sure that you will be preparing for the board exams. We had already made it clear that there will be exams from May 4, you have got time to prepare. I hope you are using the time correctly.’

Syllabus reduced by 30%

On the paper pattern of the CBSE board examinations, the Controller of Examinations has said that the paper pattern of the board examinations will be similar to the sample paper issued by the board. CBSE will no longer revise the syllabus for the upcoming board exams as the board has already reduced the syllabus by 30 percent for this year. The board will increase the number of examination centers and examinations will not be held at the center.

12 students will be able to sit in the class

Only 12 students will be allowed to sit in a class during the examination. 3 sets of question papers will be sent to the examination centers. For 10th class, 80 + 20 formula will be applicable in which 80 number theory and 20 numbers will be given for internal evaluation.
