There is a good news for the youth preparing for the Indian Army. The Indian Air Force has recently released recruitment for 317 posts in Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) Branch and Ground Duty Branch. The application process for these posts has been started, which will run till 26 June 2024. Eligible candidates can APPLY through the official website afcat.cdac.in.
AFCAT 2 2024 Fees
Candidates have to pay Rs 550 plus GST to apply. AFCAT 2024 application fee is the same for all categories. Both male and female candidates can apply for AFCAT 2 2024 exam.
Number of vacancies
Through this exam, eligible candidates will be selected for the Flying Branch as well as Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. A total of 317 vacancies will be recruited. These exams will be held on 9, 10 and 11 August 2024.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates to get admission in the Flying branch has been fixed between 20 to 24 years. While the age limit for Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches is between 20 to 26 years. At the same time, a minimum of 60 percent marks in graduation has been made mandatory.
AFCAT 2 2024 Exam Pattern
In AFCAT 2024, there will be a written exam first, followed by Air Force Selection Force Interview (AFSB) and a medical exam. The AFCAT written exam will be of total 300 marks, in which a total of 100 questions will be asked. In this exam, questions will be asked from various subjects like General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The exam will run for 2 hours.
