The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the application process for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 from Saturday, January 3rd. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official NTA website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
The last date for registration for CUET UG 2026 is January 30, 2026. Candidates can submit the exam fee until January 31, 2026.
Two Days for Form Correction
The correction window for making changes to the application form will open on February 2, 2026. Candidates will be able to make corrections to their application forms until February 4, 2026.
Eligibility: 12th Pass Candidates
Candidates applying for CUET UG 2026 must have passed the Class 12th examination from a recognized state or central board. Candidates who have passed the Intermediate or 2-year pre-university examination from a recognized university or board are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Vocational) examination are also eligible for CUET UG and can apply.
Syllabus Released in December
The NTA released the syllabus for various subjects for CUET UG 2026 on December 29, 2025. Candidates can check the syllabus on cuet.nta.nic.in.
Along with this, the NTA also issued an advisory for CUET UG 2026. Candidates can now also check the list of Central Universities and their courses on the official website.
CUET UG 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for General category candidates is ₹1,000 for up to three subjects. An additional ₹400 will be charged for each additional subject. For OBC and EWS categories, the fee is ₹900, and ₹375 for each additional subject. For SC, ST, Persons with Disabilities (PwD/PwBD), and Third Gender candidates, the fee for 3 subjects is ₹800, and for each additional subject, it is ₹350.

- Click on the CUET UG 2026 application link on the homepage.
- Register on the new page and then log in.
- Fill out the application form and pay the fee.
- After submitting the form, download the confirmation page and keep a printout for your records.
Exam to be held between May 11 and 31
According to the official notification, the CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted between May 11 and May 31, 2026. The exam will be held in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Candidates will be able to take the exam in 13 languages.
