Girls’ sports meet highlights CM Udyaman Unnayan Khiladi Yojana in Champawat
Under the Chief Minister Udyaman Unnayan Khiladi Yojana, a girls’ competition was organized at the district headquarters Goral chaur ground, Champawat on July 18.
On Thursday, a girls’ competition was held at the district headquarters Goral chaur ground. In the competition, 12 participants participated in the age group of 8 to 9 years, 20 in the age group of 9 to 10, 24 in 10 to 11 years, 20 in 11 to 12 years, 19 in 12 to 13 years and 13 participants in the age group of 13 to 14. Overall, the event saw a participation of 108 girls.
In-charge Sports Officer Chandan Singh Bisht said that under the physical efficiency test under the CMUdyaman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana, girls’ 30 meter race, jump, ball throw, 600 meter race competitions were held. After the Nyaya Panchayat and Palika level, there will be a block level competition. After this, a district level competition will be held.
