Job fair to be held in Tanakpur on Feb 21
A ‘Job Fair’ will be held in Tanakpur on February 21st, with recruitment for over 4000 posts.
As per the instructions of Champawat District Magistrate Manish Kumar, a one-day ‘Employment Fair’ is being organized on February 21st, 2026 (Saturday), with the aim of providing a big platform to the youth of the district for self-employment and building a career in the private sector. This fair will be organized at the festival venue near the Sainik Kalyan Rishtam Griha in Tanakpur under the glorious celebration of ‘Champawat_Saras_Corbett_Festival_2026’.
District Employment Officer R.K. Pant informed that more than 15 prestigious national companies, including Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Quess Corp, Pukhraj Healthcare, and many more, are participating in this fair. HR representatives from these companies will select candidates for over 4,000 vacancies in various fields through written examinations and interviews.
Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates with 10th, 12th, ITI, Diploma, Graduate, Post Graduate, and B.Tech degrees are eligible to participate in this fair. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 30 years. Selected candidates will be offered a monthly salary ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹22,000, depending on their qualifications.
Application Process and Required Documents:
Candidates interested in participating in the fair should arrive at the fair site on February 21st at 9:00 am with photocopies of all educational certificates, their resume, and two passport-size photographs. Registration on the National Career Service Portal (www.ncs.gov.in) is mandatory. Registration can also be done through a QR code.
