Volkswagen launches T-ROC SUV
German car maker company Volkswagen has launched its 5 seater SUV T-Roc in the Indian market. The company has launched its single fully loaded variant in the market with an ex-showroom price of Rs 19.99 lakh. The company showcased it at the Delhi Auto Expo 2020. The company said that it will be imported into India as a CBU i.e. Completely Built Unit. It is available in five dual tone color options. Its delivery will start in April. The T-Roc SUV has already received 2500 bookings before launch.
How much power is in the engine
Talking about Volkswagen T Roc engine, it gets a new 1.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine. It is capable of generating 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The company claims that it takes 8.4 seconds to reach 0 to 100 kmph. Its top speed is 205 km/hr.
This four cylinder engine is equipped with cylinder deactivation technology. The company claims that it is the first SUV in the segment to get better fuel efficiency. It has a 7 speed DSG gearbox as standard. In the Indian market, it will be seen against Jeep Compass.
6 airbags will be available for passenger and co-passenger safety
As a standard safety feature, it will get features such as 6 airbags, ABS (anti-locking braking system), EBD (electronic brake distribution system), ESC (electronic stability control), tire pressure monitoring system and parking system.
8 inch infotainment system will be available
The T-Roc is only available in a single fully loaded variant. It will get an 8-inch infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple Car Play, full LED headlamps / taillamps, dual tone alloy wheels, front-rear parking sensors, digital instrument cluster, dual zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and leather seats.
Available in five dual color options
The company has launched only one model of the car which is fully loaded. It will be available in five dual tone color options including options such as Curcuma Yellow, Energetic Orange, Indian Gray, Ravenna Blue and Pure White. It is 4,234 mm long, 1,992 mm wide and 1,573 mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2,590 mm.
