Neelkanth ropeway gets green signal from UKMRC

Now it will take a few minutes for the devotees to go from Rishikesh to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple. In the board meeting of Uttarakhand Metro Rail Urban Infrastructure and Building Construction Corporation Limited (UKMRC), the construction of Rishikesh-Neelkanth Mahadev ropeway has been approved. Now the proposal has been sent to the cabinet. The construction will start after getting approval from the cabinet.

The journey between Rishikesh to Neelkanth Mahadev becomes difficult due to the huge crowd that takes place here every year, there has been a demand for continuous ropeway construction. The UKMRC is responsible for the construction of the ropeway. The corporation has passed the proposal of Rishikesh-Neelkanth ropeway in the recently held board meeting. The proposal has been sent for cabinet approval.

There will be two stations in the ropeway of 450 crores

Under the proposal that has been passed by UKMRC, the total distance of the ropeway will be 5.5 km. There will be two stops in the middle.
